Jeffrey Sexton kicked a 35-yard field goal into the wind with 10 seconds left and Princeton defeated its instate rival Monmouth 31-28 on Saturday. The Tigers trailed 21-6 midway through the third quarter before rallying for a 28-21 lead, only to have Ant hony Budd's 22-yard interception return tie the game with 2:53 to go. Princeton started on its 25 and converted twice on fourth down before Sexton's kick. Collin Eaddy converted one of the fourth downs and also had three short scoring runs in the second half. Sexton also had field goals of 21- and 46-yards in the first half. Cole Smith was 27 of 41 for Princeton (4-0) for 282 yards with a two-point conversion pass to tie the game and an 18-yard strike on fourth-and-6 from the Monmouth 39. Collin Eaddy ran for 103 yards and his two fourth-quarter touchdowns helped send Princeton past Columbia in a 24-7 win on Saturday. The Tigers (3-0, 1-0 Ivy League) never trailed but needed Eaddy's scores in the last 8:50 to seal it. With a 10-7 lead, an d with second-and-7 at Columbia's 26-yard line, Cole Smith connected with Carson Bobo on a 23-yard pass to set up Eaddy's short run and a 10-point advantage. Princeton held Columbia (2-1, 0-1) to a three-and-out, and with 2:26 remaining, Eaddy broke a ta ckle in the backfield and then ran 17 yards for a touchdown. A senior, Eaddy has 20 career touchdowns. Princeton built a 10-0 lead at halftime, the first points coming on Jeffrey Sexton's career-long 42-yard field goal with 4:47 left in the first quarter . Later, the Tigers made it 10-0 when Ja'Derris Carr rushed in from the 1-yard line for his first career touchdown. Collin Eaddy rushed for 172 yards and two touchdowns as Princeton walked over Pennsylvania 28-7 on Saturday to close out the season with a victory and finish third in the Ivy League. Ryan Quigley rushed for 92 yards and another score for the Tigers. Prin ceton (8-2, 5-2) had won seven straight games before falling to Dartmouth and Yale prior to the Penn victory. Dartmouth (9-1, 6-1) which slipped past Brown 29-23 on Saturday, finished with a share of the Ivy League title as Yale (9-1, 6-1) rallied late t o take Harvard 50-43 in overtime.The Quakers got on the board first when Nick Robinson threw to Rory Starkey Jr. from the 7 with 6:56 left in the first quarter. Eaddy answered when he broke into the end zone from the 3 late in that quarter. Tavish Rice booted a 28-yard field goal late in the second to put the Tigers out front. He had a 23-yarder in the third. Quigley capped the scoring with a 2-yard run with 6:22 remaining in the game. Robinson threw for 354 yards with Kolton Huber hauling in fiv e passes for 98 yards for Penn (5-5, 3-4) which had won three straight before falling to the Tigers. - AP College Football

Collin Eaddy ran 21 times for 93 yards and two touchdowns and Princeton stayed undefeated with a 21-7 win over Cornell on Friday night. Ryan Quigley added 16 carries for 79 yards for the Tigers (7-0, 4-0 Ivy League). Kevin Davidson completed 20 of 29 pas ses for 186 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Eaddy opened the scoring with a 3-yard run in the second quarter. Davidson threw a 4-yard TD pass to Andrew Griffin with 22 seconds left in the half for a 14-0 lead. The Big Red (2-5, 1-3) cut the defic it to 14-7 on Richie Kenney's 1-yard run in the middle of the third quarter. Eaddy capped an eight-play, 75-yard scoring drive on the next possession with a 4-yard run , his league-leading ninth TD run of the season. Kenney was 17 of 30 for 195 yards and two interceptions for Cornell. If Dartmouth beats Harvard on Saturday, Princeton and the Big Green will face off as undefeated teams on Nov. 9. - AP College Football

Collin Eaddy ran 17 times for 89 yards and three touchdowns to help Princeton stay undefeated with a 28-3 win over Lafayette on Friday night. The Tigers (4-0) extended their overall winning streak to 14 games, including their 10-0 season last year. Eaddy scored twice in the first half, a 1-yard run late in the first quarter and a 5-yard run in the middle of the second to make it 14-0. Jeffrey Kordenbrock kicked a 26-yard field goal to cut the deficit to 14-3 for the Leopards (0-6) before halftime. Eaddy finsihed a nine-play, 63-yard drive with a 3-yard TD run on the first possession of the third quarter and, on Princeton's next drive, Trey Gray capped the scoring with a 4-yard TD run with 5:41 left in the third. Columbia (1-2, 0-1) regained the lead going on a 12-play, 85-yard drive that ended when Josh Bean threw a 24-yard TD pass to Ronald Smith with 76 seconds left before halftime.Eaddy ran it in from 1-yard out with 6:23 left in t he third quarter to cap an 11-play, 61-yard drive for a 14-10 Tigers lead. Ryan Quigley's 31-yard touchdown run with 9:24 to play ended the scoring. Eaddy finished with 60 yards rushing and 52 yards receiving and Davidson threw for 271 yards.
