Charlotte's wide receiving unit boasts a 2020 Biletnikoff Watch Listers: Victor Tucker (the program's second all-time leading receiver); a 2022 Biletnikoff Watch Lister: Grant DuBose (the team's 2021 leading receiver) and the 2021 C-USA Freshman of the Y ear: Elijah Spencer (shared the 2021 team-lead with DuBose - a transfer from DII Miles College in Ala. -- with six TD catches.In three games, the trio of Tucker (200 rec. yds), DuBose (229 rec. yds) and Spencer (223 rec. yds) have combined for 652 (217.3/gm) of the 757 receiving yards (86 percent). All three have at least 200 rec. yds and are averaging over 65 yd/gm. Tucker leads the team with 19 receptions and has two TDs, DuBose has team-highs in yards, TDs (3) and rec. avg. (76.3), and Spencer owns a 100-yard performance (107 vs. William & Mary). 2020 ALL-CONFERENCE USA FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM (COACHES): WR-Victor Tucker, R-Jr., Charlotte,...Tucker was the 49ers leading receiver for the third straight year. He pulled in 30 catches for 400 yards and two touchdowns in six games played. He ranked fourt h in C-USA with a 66.7 receiving average and fifth with 3.0 catches per game. He had two 100-yard receiving games, both coming against league foes: 118 vs. FAU; 111 vs. WKU. In league play, he ranked third in C-USA with 6.0 catches and 87.5 yards/game. He led Charlotte with eight catches of 15 or more yards and averaged 13.3 yards per catch. His touchdown catches came at Duke and in a win over UTEP. - Charlotte Football

2020 PRESEASON BILETNIKOFF AWARD WATCH LIST: Victor Tucker, Charlotte,...Tucker, the 49ers standout junior wide receiver, ranked third in C-USA with a 89.9 receiving average in C-USA games, last year and led the league with five 100-yard receiving games vs. league opponents. He led the 49ers with a school FBS record of 909 receiving yards and seven TD catches. He averaged 69.9 yds/gm and 17.5 yds/catch and led the 49ers with 26 catches of 15 or more yards . NOV 25 CONFERENCE USA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Charlotte WR Victor Tucker scored a pair of fourth quarter touchdowns as Charlotte rallied past Marshall to become bowl-eligible for the first time in school history. He also posted his fourth 100-yard receiving game of the season with five catches for 121 yards. All four of Tucker's 100-yard receiving games have come against C-USA foes. He scored on a five-yard end around to give the 49ers their first lead of the game and then caught an acrobatic 25-y ard TD pass on fourth and 10 with 48 seconds left to seal the win. Chris Reynolds threw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Victor Tucker with 18 seconds left to give Charlotte a 39-38 victory over North Texas on Saturday. North Texas (3-5, 2-2 Conference USA) was at the 50 with four seconds to play, but Mason Fine fumbled the ball on a sack from Markees Watts to end the game. Reynolds threw three touchdown passes, was 24 of 32 for 336 yards passing, and had a touchdown run. Tucker had 10 catches for 140 yards.Tyler Ringwood caught a touchdown pass and finished with 100 yards receiving for Charlotte (3-5, 1-3), which snapped a four-game losing skid. Benny LeMay added 155 yards rushing, two touchdown runs and had a TD catch. Fine threw five touchdown passes and was 26-of-38 passing for 394 yards to lead North Texas. Jya ire Shorter caught three passes, each for a score, and finished with 111 yards receiving. Jaelon Darden and Michael Lawrence also had touchdown catches. - Charlotte/AP College Football
