Georgia Tech always will be home, Jerry Howard said. But, with a second chance to play a senior season, the Yellow Jackets running back wants to go somewhere where he knows he can get on the field and play his position. Howard announced his decision Jan. 19. Speaking last week, he said he already had heard from a variety of schools, including Purdue, Appalachian State and Texas State. He said he has no preference about FBS, FCS or conference. While the 2020 season was his senior season, he and all fall- and winter-sports athletes have been granted an extra season of eligibility by the NCAA because of COVID-19. - Atlanta Journal Constitution
