Dixon (37) and Beerman (27) were second and third, respectively, on the team in receptions in 2020. "This is what is best for me moving forward," Dixon said. "(I) will forever be an Eternal Colonel." Dixon played two seasons at EKU after transferring from Connecticut. The Glastonburry, Conn., native made a big impact, catching a total of 71 passes for more than 1,100 yards and seven touchdowns. In 2020, Dixon had a team-best 607 yards receiving and a team-best six TDs. The redshirt senior could have applied to the NCAA for an extra season of eligibility because of COVID-19. "After talking to my family, I've decided to...begin my journey to the next level in preparation for the 2021 NFL Draft," Dixon said. "Playing football is all I've ever known and wanted to do." - Richmond Register
