This week, it was the defensive secondary getting beat up by injuries. Two players who have previously dealt with ankle injuries - cornerback Rodarius Williams and safety Tre Sterling - went out again in the first half. Neither played in the second half. After scoring a touchdown late in the third quarter, receiver Tylan Wallace left the game with knee pain and did not return. The Cowboys were without starting running back Chuba Hubbard once again. Hubbard continues to deal with an ankle injury that he tried to play through for roughly a month before sitting out last week. - Daily Oklahoman

As far as Williams, the Cowboy coach spoke highly of him and how he's moved up the draft boards with his play this fall. "I mentioned Tylan Wallace has made himself a lot of money this year, so has Rodarius," Gundy said. "Rodarius is probably the hottest guy on our team right now when it comes to interest from the NFL. He's been fabulous in coverage and he's competed, played hard and his attitude's been great. "What he's putting on tape is exactly what those guys at that level want to see in my opinion. You take a guy that's potentially moved himself up three or four rounds in the draft by his play on tape this year, and obviously at Oklahoma State we don't get a lot of guys that are going to go that high in the draft." - Stillwater Press
