White earned AAC Defensive Player of the Week for his career-high 15-total-tackle (eight solo) performance last week against Army. The 5-foot-10, 205-pound La Salle High School product also had a tackle for loss and a quarterback hurry against the then-2 2nd-ranked Black Knights. "Team success creates individual success," Cincinnati defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman told The Enquirer. "But that's not to discredit what he did in that game. I think he played extremely well. The first two games, he's pla yed extremely well. He's been the player of the game for defense both games. In my career at Cincinnati, I can't tell you the last time that happened." - Cincinnati Enquirer
