2020 ALL-ACC FOOTBALL HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES/MEDIA): LB - David Curry, Georgia Tech, 29,...Curry was an honorable-mention all-ACC selection for the second-straight season after leading the team and ranking fifth in the ACC with 8.4 tackles per game ( 84 total). He also led Georgia Tech with 9.0 tackles for loss (good for 19th in the league) and added 1.5 sacks, two pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his final season on The Flats. - Georgia Tech Football

In the first step of a multi-phase plan that is hoped will lead to the football team playing its season opener against Clemson as scheduled Sept. 3, Georgia Tech will reopen its athletic facilities for voluntary workouts for all Yellow Jackets athletes i n the Atlanta area beginning June 15. Thursday's announcement followed the NCAA's May 20 decision to permit Division I football and basketball players to return to campus for voluntary training as early as June 1, followed by a subsequent ruling to open campuses on the same date for athletes in all sports. - Atlanta Journal Constitution

2019 ALL-ACC HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): LB - David Curry, Georgia Tech; 25,...Curry led Georgia Tech with 97 tackles this season and ranks seventh in the ACC and 55th nationally with 8.1 tackles per game. He also recorded six tackles for loss (tied for second on the team), two sacks (tied for second on the team), two forced fumbles (tied for team lead), a fumble recovery and an interception. He is one of only 10 players in NCAA Division I FBS and four from Power Five conference teams with at least 97 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery this season. Curry had double-digit tackles in four different games, including a career-high 16 against North Carolina, which is good for the 35th-most by an FBS player this season. - Georgia Tech Football
