In even more class of 2019 news, Ohio State, and most recently, Arizona State transfer defensive end Darius Slade is enrolled at the University of South Florida, according to Nathan Bond of The Daily Stampede. Slade initially enrolled at Ohio State in 20 14, and was a hot three-star recruit coming out of Montclair, New Jersey. After taking a redshirt in 2014, Slade got onto the field in seven games for Ohio State in the 2015 season but did not record anything on the stat sheet. Slade was a part of the 20 15 National Championship team for the Buckeyes.The following year, Slade sustained a lower leg injury in fall camp that sidelined him for the entire 2016 season. Slade then transferred to Arizona State, a school he initially committed to in 2013, where he had to sit out the 2017 season due to transfer rules. That 2017 season saw him as the co-defensive MVP for the scout team for the Sun Devils. Last season, Slade finally saw the field and some success at defensive end, registering eight tackles, 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble recover and recovery. His forced fumble and recovery was a monstrous play, showcasing his pass rushing ability. - The Daily Stampede
