  2019 AFCA DIVISION II COACHES' SECOND TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: QB Brook Bolles, R-Sr., Central Missouri,...Bolles earns his third All-American award and first of 2019 being placed on the AFCA Second Team. Bolles threw for 4,290 yards this season completing 235-of-419 passes with 42 touchdown passes. He is second in the NCAA in passing yards and passing touchdowns and those numbers put him second all-time in Mules history for a single season. Bolles also added 228 rushing yards and four scores on the ground.

His 18.26 yards per completion lead the nation and his 347.5 yards of total offense per game rank third in the country. In 12 games Bolles threw for more than 200 yards, he surpassed 300 yards in eight games and 400 yards in three. He set a new UCM record throwing for 506 yards in the Mules win at Missouri Western, the first 500-yard passing game in team history. Bolles is the first Mules quarterback to earn All-American awards in two different seasons and just the second ever named an All-American by the AFCA. - Central Missouri Football

  2019 ALL-MIAA FIRST TEAM (COACHES): Quarterback Brook Bolles, Central Missouri,...The Mules quarterback has had a tremendous year leading UCM. Bolles leads the country in passing yards with 3,660 and yards per completion at 19.37. Bolles has completed 189 passes for 345 yards and an MIAA leading 39 touchdown passes. With more games to come, Bolles is already second in passing touchdowns for a single season at UCM and he is one off the national lead. This season, Bolles has set single game records with 506 passing yards and seven touchdown passes. He's thrown for at least 300 yards in seven games and reached 400 yards in three.

He's thrown for a touchdown pass in all 11 games and at least three touchdowns in seven games. He hasn't needed to scramble much but does have 209 yards rushing and four touchdowns on the ground. He's even caught a pass for 28 yards. Four times this season Bolles has been named the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week and twice has been a National Player of the Week. The Mules have had seven MIAA MVP's before the league changed to Offensive and Defensive Player's of the Year. He is the second ever MIAA Offensive Player of the Year at UCM and this is his second time making the All-MIAA First Team along with his 2017 season. - Central Missouri Football

  The MIAA's Co-Champions, Central Missouri and Northwest Missouri, were selected for the NCAA Division II playoffs as the field was announced by the NCAA on Sunday, November 17. Northwest Missouri (10-1) earned the third seed in Super Region Three and will host Harding (10-1) on Saturday, November 23 at 12 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium in Maryville, Missouri. This is the 24th time the Bearcats have made the playoffs and their 16th consecutive selection. NW currently ranks sixth in the nation in scoring offense with 46.6 points per game and is 10th nationally in rush defense with just 84.4 yards allowed per game. Northwest also leads Division II in red-zone offense, scoring at a rate of 97.1 percent.

Central Missouri (10-1) was awarded the fourth seed in Super Region Three and will host Indianapolis (9-1) on Saturday, November 23 at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field in Warrenburg, Missouri. The Mules are back in the playoffs for the first time since 2016 and third time under head coach Jim Svoboda. UCM is one of the nation's best offenses as it ranks first in total offense with 570.2 yards per game and first in passing offense with 351.8 yards per game. Central Missouri is also third in Divison II for scoring offense with 48.6 points per game. - MIAA Football

  OCT 7 MIAA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Brook Bolles of Central Missouri was tabbed as the Association's offensive player of the week for the third time in 2019. Bolles set a new UCM record and matched the MIAA record for most touchdown passes in a game with seven. He completed 25-of-36 passes for 421 yards with no interceptions and added 39 yards on the ground in the Mules win at Missouri Southern. - MIAA Football

  NOV 4 MIAA OFFENSIVE OF THE WEEK: For the fourth time in 2019, Central Missouri's Brook Bolles was named as the offensive player of the week as he led the Mules to a dramatic comeback win on the road at Nebraska Kearney. With the game tied at 40, Bolles heaved a 63-yard Hail Mary touchdown pass with just two seconds left to complete a UCM comeback win. He completed 23-of-41 passes for 464 yards and five touchdowns. Bolles also surpassed 7,000 career passing yards in the win. - MIAA Football
