2019 ALL-SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: DB Davion Washington, Wingate,...Washington earns first team All-SAC honors for the second straight year. An All-Region honoree in 2018, Washington has registered 24 tackles on the season while regi stering 10 pass break-ups. The senior has a pair of interceptions on the season. He had a huge interception in the end zone in Wingate's victory over Carson-Newman. He had another key pick in the road win at Tusculum. Washington notched three pass break- ups in the UVA-Wise victory. - Wingate Football

2019 PRESEASON ALL-SAC FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM: DB Davion Washington, Wingate,...Washington was an All-SAC and All-Region cornerback for the Bulldogs in 2018. He registered 50 tackles on the season, with 1.5 tackles for loss. He piled up a team-best 18 passe s defended, while also leading the 'Dogs with 15 pass breakups. Washington had three interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on the season. All three interceptions came in postseason play, collecting one at West Georgia while registering a p air of picks at Lenoir-Rhyne. - Wingate Football
