Jordan Glasgow, Michigan, Player News
|
Jordan Glasgow might not be the highest-profile name from Michigan in this year's NFL draft, but he certainly is intriguing. And he has quite the family background going for him. The younger brother of NFL players Graham Glasgow (Denver Broncos) and Ryan Glasgow (Cincinnati Bengals), Glasgow has a good grasp of what it takes to churn out a living at the next level. After all, just like his older brothers, Glasgow turned walk-on status into a scholarship and a formidable four-year playing career in Ann A rbor. And that diversified portfolio of experience is just what could land him a roster spot at the next level.Make no mistake, Glasgow is likely not going to be drafted later this month; he didn't receive an invite to the Senior Bowl, had his pro day canceled, and hasn't popped up on any mock drafts. His chance is likely going to come after the draft has finished, when a team calls the Aurora, Ill., native with an invite to camp. Glasgow steadily increased his contributions to the Wolverines as time went on, redshirting his freshman season in 2015 to earning Linebacker of the Year honors from the team in 2019, when he finished second in tackles (89) and flashed some impressive play on defense. At 6-feet and 221 pounds, Glasgow has the ability t o play inside linebacker and strong safety, but his ticket to the NFL - at least immediately - comes in special teams. - Ann Arbor News
