DeJon Harris, Arkansas, Player News

Arkansas had its 2020 Pro Day on Wednesday with a few players trying to improve their draft position and others just looking for a chance to continue their career. Twenty-two of the 32 NFL teams were represented with defensive lineman McTelvin Agim (6-2, 309), linebacker De'Jon "Scoota" Harris and safety Kamren Curl headlining the 12 former Razorbacks participating in the event. The trio are the most likely of the dozen to get drafted after they were invited to and participated in the NFL Combine at Luc as Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. "It was a fun experience," Harris said. "It was stressful at some times, doing things that you were not normally used to doing. Diet-wise, it is different and this is the most crucial time. You have to be on the right diet plan. "But overall, it was a great experience, but like I said, just stressful at some times."Harris is being represented by Jake Presser and former Razorbacks tailback Rawleigh Williams leading up to the NFL Draft, which is scheduled for April 2 3-25 in Las Vegas. "I met with the Ravens, Giants, Cowboys, (teams) like that," Harris said. "I had a meeting last night with the Giants. I have a workout coming up soon with the Rams, I think. I don't have the actual schedule yet." The fact that former Arkansas linebacker Dre Greelaw became a starter for the San Francisco 49ers and played in the Super Bowl in his rookie season is motivating for Harris. - Northwest Arkansas Times
