2019 ALL-ACC SECOND TEAM (COACHES): LB - Michael Pinckney, Miami (FL); 55,...Pinckney was second on the Hurricanes with 64 total tackles this season and had a career-high 12.5 tackles for loss in another standout campaign. The Jacksonville native started all 11 games in which he played and added five sacks, six quarterback hurries and three PBUs. 2019 PRESEASON BUTKUS AWARD WATCH LIST: Michael Pickney, Miami (Fla.),...Seniors Michael Pinckney and Shaquille Quarterman were among those players named to the watch list for the 35th annual Butkus Award, honoring the nation's best linebacker. The colle giate watch list contained 51 linebackers, mirroring the legendary "51" pro jersey associated with the Award's namesake Dick Butkus, who was recognized by NFL Films as the best defensive player in football history.Pinckney delivered another impres sive year in 2018, earning All-ACC Honorable Mention recognition for the second straight year. Pinckney, who made 12 starts, ranked third on the team in total tackles (74) and added 11 tackles for loss with 3.5 sacks.
