Kevin Davidson threw three touchdown passes as Princeton edged Harvard 30-24 on Saturday. Davidson had 312 yards passing for the Tigers (6-0, 3-0 Ivy League), who have a 16-game winning streak. Collin Eaddy ran for 110 yards and a touchdown and caught a pass for another score. Davidson threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Dylan Classi, who made a diving catch in the end zone to give the Tigers a 30-21 lead with 3:16 remaining. The score came three plays after a 28-yard interception return by Matthew Winsto n.Princeton jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter on Davidson's 13-yard touchdown throw to Classi followed by Tavish Rice's 46-yard field goal. Harvard scored twice in the second quarter to lead 14-10 at halftime. Eaddy scored twice in the th ird on a 31-yard pass from Davidson and a 1-yard run to give the Tigers a 23-14 advantage with 3:45 left in the quarter. Kevin Davidson threw for five touchdowns as Princeton rolled to a 65-22 win over Brown on Saturday. It was the No. 17 Tigers' 15th straight win and the most points ever scored against Brown. Davidson was 27 of 35 for 379 yards passing for the Tigers (5-0 , 2-0 Ivy League). Jacob Birmelin had 12 receptions for 186 yards and two touchdowns. Tyler Campbell ran for 91 yards. With just one exception, Princeton scored on every drive in the first half starting with Tavish Rice's 24-yard field goal midway throug h the first quarter.Ryan Quigley ran for three touchdowns, Zachary Keller ran for another, and Davidson had three scoring throws, two to Birmelin and one to Sam Johnson to take a 51-19 advantage into halftime. The only time in the first half a Pri nceton drive failed to turn up points was when a Davidson pass was intercepted early in the second quarter. Princeton outgained Brown 634 to 400 yards. Kevin Davidson broke a single-game school record Saturday, throwing seven touchdown passes, to lead Princeton past Bucknell 56-23. Four of those scores went to Andrew Griffin, who tied a 28-year program record for most touchdown receptions in a game. Dav idson finished with 381 yards passing for the Tigers (2-0). Griffin caught nine passes for 200 yards. Princeton trailed 7-0 late in the first quarter when Davidson found Andrei Iosivas for a 29-yard scoring strike.He followed up on the Tigers' nex t drive with a 57-yard completion to Griffin on first down and then a 12-yard touchdown throw to Griffin to move Princeton into a 14-7 lead with 13:23 remaining in the second quarter. Bucknell tied at 14-all on a 1-yard scoring run by quarterback Logan B itikofer but Davidson answered with two more touchdown throws before the end of the half, a 27-yarder to Griffin and a 12-yarder to Jacob Birmelin for a 28-14 advantage at halftime. Kevin Davidson passed for 341 yards and two touchdowns and Princeton opened its 150th season in convincing fashion, defeating Butler 49-7 on Saturday. Collin Eaddy ran for two touchdowns for the Tigers and Andrei Iosivas caught two TD passes - one from D avidson, the other from Dylan Classi. The Tigers led 49-0 through three quarters. Backup quarterback Nick Orlando scored Butler's touchdown on a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter. He was Butler's leading rusher with 70 yards on 11 carries. Luke Sennett ac counted for 14 tackles, five solo, for the Bulldogs (1-3). Princeton played Rutgers on Nov. 6, 1869 in what is considered by many to be the first collegiate football game.
