2019 ALL-OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): DB - TJ Warren, Murray State,...Warren not only helped lead the Racers on the defense this season with 69 tackles, but he was a leader off the field and played a pivotal role in special teams as well . In addition to his four pass breakups and an interception as a defensive back, the Conyers, Georgia native also had a 30-yard rush and a 30-yard reception on a pass from Dawson on fake punts. Warren ended the year with 3.0 tackles-for-loss, 1.0 sacks, a school-record two safeties, two forced fumbles, a quarterback hurry. - Murray State Football

OCT 7 OVC CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: T.J. Warren, DB, 6-0, 219, R-Sr., Conyers, Ga., Murray State,...Warren tallied five tackles, including 2.0 for loss), had a pass breakup and recorded a safety as Murray State picked up its first OVC victory of t he season in defeating Eastern Illinois 24-17. Warren's safety, the first for the team since 2011, came early in the second quarter, as he tackled EIU's quarterback for a seven-yard loss in the end zone. With his team leading by seven in the fourth quart er and facing a fourth down at its own 34-yard line, Warren called a fake punt from the field and rushed the ball 30 yards to keep the drive alive.
