Claiming the honor for the third-straight week, the Colonials' quarterback, who has been on an absolute tear as of late, became the first player to score a three-peat of the league's weekly offensive award since former NEC great and current NFL running back Julius Chestnut did so during the abbreviated 2020-21 season. On the heels of a career performance that featured 296 passing yards in a thrilling 33-31 win over Norfolk State, Haggard topped those numbers after he completed 23-of-30 passes for 376 yards in a heartbreaker at Morgan State on Saturday. In addition, the fifth-year signal caller, who did not throw a pick the entire game, accounted for each of the Colonials' four touchdowns after he threw for three and added a four-yard rushing score in the 28-27 defeat. The Floridian tops the NEC charts in several categories, including passing yards (1,444), passing touchdowns (15), passing yards per game (240.7) and pass efficiency (156.2). In addition, he has been responsible for 18.0 points per game for the Colonials, an average that ranks sixth in the nation, while his 15 passing scores are eighth-most in the FCS. - NEC Football

Throwing for a career-high 296 yards and four touchdowns, the Floridian, who completed a season-best 71.4 percent of his passes, led the Colonials to the thrilling 33-31 victory over the Spartans with a late game-winning touchdown pass. Throwing for two touchdowns in the opening quarter, Haggard helped put Robert Morris up by a 27-10 count with 11:34 left in the third with his second strike of the game to redshirt sophomore Jaqai Carter, a 22-yard pass that capped a seven-play, 71-yard drive.

He then went on to stop the bleeding on a 21-0 Spartans' run that put the visitors up by a 31-27 count by delivering a 10-yard strike to Carter with 1:25 remaining. During that game-clinching run, which featured five plays over a 1:56 stretch, Haggard accounted for 63 of the Colonials' 72 yards, all of which came through the air. Surpassing 1,000 passing yards on the season following Saturday's big outing, Haggard leads the circuit with 12 touchdown passes and a 144.0 passing efficiency, while his 213.6 yards per game and 1,068 total yards are both good for second in the conference. He is the first Colonial to earn NEC Offensive Player of the Week in consecutive weeks since Myles Russ did so in the 2010 campaign. - NEC Football

His standout performance was instrumental in keeping the Colonials within striking distance of the Bulls throughout the afternoon in a game that saw Robert Morris come three points shy of the program's first-ever win over an FBS opponent in a 31-28 final. Lopinto recorded 19 tackles, a mark that is tied for the most by an NEC player this season and the most by an NEC defender since former Bobby Mo standout Jamar Shegog also had 19 stops against Stonehill on Nov. 23, 2024. The sophomore also came away with an interception - the first of his career - that silenced the Bulls on a 1st-and-10 on the Robert Morris' 27-yard line. The Buckeye State product ranks third in the conference in tackles with 9.8 per game. Registering 163 yards through the air on 13 completions while adding 59 rushing yards on four carries, the Floridian contributed two touchdowns for the Colonials, who came just three points shy of what would have been the program's first-ever victory over an FBS squad. Haggard delivered one of the biggest plays of the afternoon in the second quarter when he broke free for a career-long 50-yard touchdown run to give Robert Morris a 14-7 advantage. He later helped fuel the Colonials' late comeback bid by orchestrating an 81-yard, 46-second drive which resulted in a 32-yard touchdown throw that made it a 31-28 game with 1:46 left to play. The sophomore wide receiver accounted three of the Colonials' four touchdowns to help his team cruise to the commanding 28-7 win. Combs, who closed out the day with a career-high - and league-leading - 104 receiving yards on four catches, set the tone early when he blocked a punt, recovered it and returned it 22 yards for a first-quarter score. Later in the game, the Cincinnati native gave Robert Morris a 21-7 cushion with 2:03 left in the third after he hauled in a 64-yard touchdown pass from Carson Haggard. Combs put the game away in the fourth quarter, delivering his third score of the day on a 15-yard pass with 5:35 to go in the fourth. With the Seahawks' lone score coming by way of a pick-6 in the second quarter, Hunter and the Colonials coasted to the 28-7 win in a game that also served as their first NEC contest of the 2026 campaign. Hunter, a redshirt senior linebacker from Miami, racked up a career-high eight tackles, including three solo stops, to go along with a league-leading 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks. Thanks to the Floridian's contributions, Robert Morris limited Wagner to just 97 total yards of offense, six first downs and a 1-of-6 mark on third-down conversions.
