Thomson and the Hornets topped No. 5/6 Montana 49-22 at home. After trailing 7-0 to start the game, the Hornets scored two minutes later to take the lead and never trailed again. Thomson rushed for two touchdowns and added four touchdown passes to seal the win for Sacramento State.
