  Draft Scout by Conference

Jeff Okudah's lock-down performance at cornerback helped Ohio State football's defense emphatically return to prominence in 2019. It also made him one of the most coveted NFL Draft prospects at the position. On Wednesday, the junior announced - in a letter to his late mother published at The Players Tribune - that he will leave the Buckeyes to pursue that opportunity. Okudah is the second Ohio State player to declare early entry for the draft, following running back J.K. Dobbins' Monday announcement. Decisions are forthcoming from defensive end Chase Young, slot cornerback Shaun Wade and others as to their 2020 status. Okudah recorded 35 tackles with three interceptions, two forced fumbles and a team-high nine pass breakups. He and Young were both unanimous All-America selections, and Okudah was a finalist for the Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back. - Cleveland.com
