| WEEK 8 ACC DEFENSIVE BACK OF THE WEEK: Jy Gilmore, R-Jr., DB, Georgia Tech (Citra, Florida),...Stuffed the stat sheet with 11 tackles, including 1.5 tackles-for-loss and 0.5 sacks, and two pass breakups in Georgia Tech's 27-18 win at Duke, which handed t he Blue Devils their first ACC loss of the season...His individual effort led a defensive performance that held Duke to less than half of its season scoring average coming into the game (the Blue Devils were averaging 36.5 points per game prior to Saturd ay)...Part of a Yellow Jackets' defense that held Duke to a season-low 68 rushing yards...A key cog of the Tech defense that was especially stout in the second half, as it held Duke to just 66 yards and no points over three series spanning 14:53, which a llowed the Yellow Jackets' offense to score on four-straight possessions, turning a 10-7 deficit into a commanding 27-10 lead. - ACC Football
