 Steve Hutchinson, Michigan, Player News

  06/25/20 - OG Steve HutchinsonSr/2001, Michigan, 6-5, 315 (DS#1 OG) + More +

Steve Hutchinson has waited this long to get in, what's another delay? The former Michigan offensive lineman and the rest of the Pro Football Hall of Fame class of 2020 will have to wait for enshrinement, as the Aug. 8 ceremony has been postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Hall of Fame game between the Cowboys and Steelers slated for Aug. 6 also in Canton, Ohio, has been canceled. That exhibition generally kicks off the NFL's preseason, and is the first event the league has had to cancel due to COVID-19. The NFL held its draft virtually at the end of April.

For Hutchinson, the third time was the charm back in February, when he received word he would be inducted. Hutchinson played 12 seasons in the NFL, starting with the Seattle Seahawks, who made the Wolverines guard a first-round pick in 2001. He made seven straight Pro Bowls from 2003-2009 and was a five-time first-team All Pro selection. - Ann Arbor News
