  2022 ALL-OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM: K - Logan Seibert, Lindenwood,...Logan Seibert was named to the second-team all-OVC as a specialist. Seibert knocked through 11-of-14 field goals, tallying a long of 45 yards. Seibert was 44-of-47 on extra points, and put up 77 points. Brister capped off his career as the school's leader in passing yards, passing touchdowns, and total offense. The O'Fallon, Mo. native holds nearly every passing record, and is the only player in program history to pass for over 10,000 yards in a Lindenwood uniform.   Cade Brister threw for three touchdowns and ran for three more and Lindenwood defeated Division II-member McKendree 63-35 on Saturday. The Lions (7-3) had 631 total yards, with Brister passing for 269 on 24 completions in 31 attempts and rushing for 135 on 15 carries. Andrew Martin led on the ground with 152 yards on 13 carries and scoring twice. The Lions had 362 yards rushing. Payton Rose had 10 receptions for 131 yards and caught all three of Brister's TD tosses. McKendree had 474 yards on offense. Turner Pullen threw for 286 yards with a touchdown and the Bearcats (5-6) had 168 yards and four touchdowns on the ground. - AP College Football

  NOV 7 OHIO VALLEY CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Cade Brister, QB, 6-1, 222, Sr., O'Fallon, Mo., Lindenwood,...Brister tallied 352 yards of total offense and five touchdowns as Lindenwood came up one point short at Tennessee Tech. The senior registered his seventh 300-yard passing game of the season in completing 24-of-33 passes for 303 yards and five touchdowns (37, 29, 40, 23 and 10 yards). Despite facing constant pressure from the TTU defense, Brister managed 49 net rushing yards on 27 rushes. He completed passes to nine different receivers. At the end of the game Brister led the Lions on an 18-play, 75-yard drive that ended with a touchdown to pull the team within one point (the ensuing two-point conversion was no good). He 363.0 yards of total offense/game ranks him third nationally. - OVC Football

  Cade Brister threw four touchdowns and backup quarterback Cole Dugger threw three and Lindenwood beat Division II-level William Jewel 64-23 on Saturday. Brister was 21-for-30 passing for 326 yards and Dugger went 5 of 6 for 119 yards. Payton Rose hauled in 200 of the quarterback duo's combined 445 yards passing on nine receptions with three touchdowns. The Cardinals fought back, overcoming a 26-3 deficit and scored three touchdowns in the final 10:43 of the second quarter.   OCT 24 OVC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Darion Bolden, DB, 5-9, 187, Sr., St. Louis, Mo., Lindenwood,...Bolden picked off two passes, including returning one 99 yards for a touchdown, as Lindenwood overcame a third quarter deficit to beat Murray State 33-18 and improve to 5-2 on the season. With his team trailing by one late in the third quarter and MSU closing in on another score, Bolden picked off a pass and raced the length of the field for a touchdown to put Lindenwood on top for good. The 99-yard interception return is the longest by a FCS player this season. His second interception came with just over two minutes left in the game, ending the Racers' final drive and securing the 33-18 victory. Bolden also added four tackles and two pass breakups in the win. Bolden is one of four OVC players to have multiple interceptions in the same game this season.   Cade Brister threw three touchdown passes, Darion Bolden returned an interception 99 yards for a touchdown and Lindenwood rallied from an early deficit to defeat Murray State 33-18 on Saturday. Murray State took a 12-0 lead on two short touchdown runs by Lucas Maue, but the Racers would not score another touchdown. Brister led Lindenwood's rally with touchdown passes of 39 yards to Kobe Smith and 27 yards to Payton Rose, then Logan Seibert booted a 45-yard field goal for a 17-15 lead at halftime. Late in the third quarter, Bolden's pick-6 gave the Lions the lead for good, 24-18. Lindenwood added another Brister-to-Smith touchdown pass and a Seibert field goal in the fourth quarter. Brister finished 16-of-26 passing for 242 yards and led Lindenwood with 61 yards rushing. Rose had three catches for 111 yards for the Lions (5-2, 2-2 Ohio Valley Conference).
