Cornelius and Lorenzo Thompson represent 60 percent of Rhody's offensive line unit that blocked for the third-highest scoring offense in the league. The Rams piled up 30.6 points per game behind a balanced attack. Behind its line, URI ranked fourth in CAA Football in both rushing attack (168.8 yards per game) and passing attack (235.3 yards/game).   2022 PRESEASON STATS PERFORM FCS THIRD TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: OL - Nick Correia, 6-6, 330, redshirt junior, Rhode Island,...A CAA Football Second Team All-Conference selection in 2021, Correia has the team's longest active streak with 26 consecutive starts. He was a major reason Rhode Island averaged 133.6 rushing yards per game last season. Running behind Correia, backs Justice Antrum and Jaylen Smith combined for 1,059 yards and seven touchdowns while splitting the starting backfield duties. In the 26 games since Correia joined the starting lineup, Rhody produced 9,383 yards of total offense (360.9 yards per game) and 77 touchdowns.   2021 ALL-CAA FOOTBALL SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Nick Correia, Rhode Island, OL, So.,...Guard Nick Correia, cornerback Jordan Jones and outside linebacker L.B. Mack III both earned second-team honors. Guard Evan Lovell was a third-team selection. Correia and Lovell both started all 11 games at the guard spots. Correia was the right guard, while Lovell manned the left side.
