2021 LONE STAR CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Jalen March, Midwestern State,...March joined an impressive list of his own as the LSC Offensive Freshman of the Year. Former MSU standouts Vincent Johnson (2015), Jimmy Pipken (2011) and Daniel Polk (2004) also claimed top frosh honors. Polk and Johnson remain second and third on the program's all-time rushing list. March broke out of a running back by committee late in the season to lead the Mustangs with 635 rushing yards. The Fort Worth Seguin High graduate ranked fourth in the league running for 63.5 yards per game and was second with a 5.93 rushing yards per attempt average. March also claimed LSC Offensive Player of the Week honors in the final week of the season running for 158 yards and a touchdown in a league-title clinching 36-30 win over UT Permian Basin. - Midwestern State Football
