  Wiley Hartley passed for 265 yards and two touchdowns, Bryant Barr rushed for 97 yards and three scores and Campbell scored 21 straight points to rally past Gardner-Webb 42-28 in Big South Conference play on Saturday. Narii Gaither's 22-yard TD run gave Gardner-Webb (2-4, 0-2) a 28-21 lead with 7:06 remaining in the third quarter. Barr pulled the Fighting Camels (3-2, 2-0) even with a 1-yard TD run, capping a 12-play, 59-yard drive with 60 seconds left in the period. The Campbell defense provided the spark for the go-ahead score.

Josh McNeely recovered a Quayvon Skanes fumble on a punt return at the Bulldogs' 11-yard line and two plays later Barr scored on an 8-yard run - giving Campbell a 35-28 lead with 3:53 left to play. The Fighting Camels wrapped up the win with C.J. Freeman's 23-yard TD run after Gardner-Webb turned the ball over on downs at its own 23-yard line. Hartley completed 26 of 41 passes with second-quarter TD throws covering 9 yards to Caleb Snead and 39 yards to Julian Hill. Snead finished with 10 receptions for 98 yards, while Hill caught six passes for 89. Bailey Fisher was 18-of-28 passing for 160 yards and a TD with one interception for Gardner-Webb.   Wiley Hartley threw three touchdown passes to lead Campbell to a 48-31 victory over North Alabama on Saturday night in the Big South Conference opener for both teams. Hartley was 18-of-31 passing for 302 yards. He threw a pair of touchdown passes to Caleb Snead, who had eight receptions for 162 yards. RJ Jackson and Jalen Kelsey also made touchdown catches for Campbell (2-2, 1-0). Bryant Barr drove into the end zone from the 1 to pull the Camels to 24-14 at halftime. Hartley threw a 52-yard touchdown pass to Snead early in the third quarter, and the duo connected on a 13-yard score early in the fourth that stretched the Camels' lead to 41-24. Rett Files was 30-of-45 passing for 367 yards and threw three touchdown passes for North Alabama (0-5, 0-1). Dexter Boykin made a pair of touchdown catches and finished with seven receptions for 112 yards. The Lions led 24-7 with about six minutes to play before halftime. - AP College Football

  SEPT 20 BIG SOUTH OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Campbell quarterback Wiley Hartley (Atlanta, Ga.), making his first career start at quarterback, tossed a Big South single-game record six touchdowns along with 342 yards on 22-of-30 passing to help Campbell defeat Presbyterian, 72-0. He led Campbell to the end zone on eight of its first nine possessions and tossed TD passes on five-straight drives. Five of his touchdown throws went for at least 20 yards - including his 60-yard third quarter strike that put CU on ahead, 56-0. Hartley's six touchdown passes went to six different Camel receivers. Also nominated for Offensive Player of the Week: Jett Duffey (Hampton), Xavier Shepherd (Kennesaw State) and Juwon Farri (Monmouth). - Big South Football

  Wiley Hartley threw six touchdown passes, Campbell forced a program-record 10 turnovers and the Camels routed Presbyterian 72-0 on Saturday night. Hartley was 22-of-30 passing for 342 yards. Michael Jamerson opened the scoring with a pair of touchdown runs in the first quarter before Hartley threw a TD pass each to six receivers. Jamerson ran 22 times for 101 yards. Campbell (1-2) added a safety and CJ Tillman's pick-6. Tai Goode capped the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run. The Camels finished with seven interceptions and recovered three fumbles. Hartley scrambled to his right and then lofted a 28-yard pass to Austin Hite, who made a bobbling catch in the end zone as time expired in the first half, stretching the Camels' lead to 49-0. Hartley's 60-yard pass to tight end Jordan Goco to open the second half was his longest scoring throw of the game.
