USC dipped back into the transfer portal on Monday, adding one of the best players in the Pac-12 to its 2023 roster. Former Arizona receiver Dorian Singer committed to the Trojans Monday morning, making his announcement in a simple post on Twitter. As a sophomore at Arizona in 2022, Singer led the Pac-12 with 1,105 receiving yards, averaging 16.7 per reception. He recorded 66 receptions and six touchdowns, earning first-team All-Pac-12 honors.

Against USC, Singer caught seven passes for 141 yards and three touchdowns, including an incredible one-handed grab. Singer is the third former Wildcat to transfer to USC this month, joining defensive lineman Kyon Barrs and cornerback Christian Roland-Wallace, all of whom are immediately eligible. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Singer should have the opportunity to step right into the USC offense as a top option for Heisman-winning quarterback Caleb Williams next season. Transfers Jordan Addison and Mario Williams thrived in their first years at USC, and Addison is expected to enter the NFL draft as he projects as a likely first-round pick. - Orange County Register

USC has the reigning Biletnikoff Award recipient. Arizona has two players on the watch list to crown this year's winner. Sophomore Dorian Singer was added to the list this week, joining teammate Jacob Cowing. Arizona is one of nine schools with more than one nominee for the Biletnikoff Award, given annually to the nation's premier pass catcher. "It's just a blessing," Singer said Tuesday. "It's showing that my hard work is paying off." Singer said he "didn't know what the Biletnikoff was until last year" - a reflection of his rise from relative obscurity. Singer began his UA career as a walk-on. He emerged as a viable pass-catching threat in Game 8 against the Trojans last season, catching three passes for 65 yards in his college debut. Singer currently ranks 30th nationally in receiving yards (605) and is tied for 41st in receptions (41). - Arizona Star News

Another Wildcat has been added to the Biletnikoff Award watch list. Dorian Singer was added to the midseason watch, which is given annually to the top wide receiver in college football. Singer joins fellow Wildcat Jacob Cowing who was on the watch list entering the season. Singer, the 6-foot-1-inch sophomore from Saint Paul, Minnesota, is second on the team behind Cowing with 41 catches for 605 yards and two touchdowns. Singer notched eight receptions 103 yards against Cal, and 163 yards on nine catches the following week against Oregon. In last week's loss to Washington, Singer hauled in six catches for 99 yards and a touchdown. Arizona has a bye this week and will return next Saturday to host No. 12 USC at 4 p.m. for homecoming. - Arizona Star News
