  One of Bowling Green football's team captains has entered the transfer portal. Diata Burns, who started the first four games of the season at cornerback, announced Thursday that he plans to transfer from Bowling Green. A native of Maryland, Burns came to Bowling Green from De Anza (Calif.) College and played one season with the Falcons. In four games, he made 10 tackles, including two for loss, and broke up two passes for BG, which finished 0-5. Burns was named a team captain in November. - Toledo Blade
