  12/29/22 - OG Hawk WimmerrSr/2023, Air Force, 6-3, 330 (DS#38 OG) + More +

2021 ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST FIRST TEAM (COACHES): OL - Hawk Wimmer, Sr., Air Force,...Wimmer extends Air Force's streak of a first-team all-MW offensive lineman to three years, as he joins Parker Ferguson and Nolan Laufenberg from 2020 and Scott Hattok from 2019 on the league's first team. Wimmer has started every game for the Falcons and helped the line, nicknamed the Diesel, pave the way for the Falcons to lead the nation in rushing with a 341.6 average. The Falcons have led the nation in rushing a school-record nine consecutive weeks and the Diesel have earned semifinalist honors for the Joe Moore Award, given annually to the nation's top offensive line. Air Force entered the season with the fewest career starts (three) in the nation. The line has used eight different starting lineups this season. - Air Force Football
