 Justin Robinson, Transfer, Player News

Nobody is expecting Georgia to have an impact freshman wide receiver like George Pickens again this season. Pickens had more catches with 49 than any Bulldog freshman since A.J. Green in 2008. He was the first freshman to top the Bulldogs in receptions since Terrence Edwards in 1999. Another season-ending knee injury to Dominick Blaylock Wednesday means the Bulldogs will need to tap into the nation's top-ranked recruiting class even more for help from a highly-regarded group of wideouts. It includes three top 15 prospects at the position-including Marcus Rosemy and Jermaine Burton-as well as 4-star early enrollee Justin Robinson and Ladd McConkey, who was added to the haul after Todd Monken was hired as offensive coordinator. "We're still relatively young with a couple of guys we're counting on with George and some of the incoming freshmen and some of the older guys that still have work to do as developmental players that need the reps," Monken said a day before the Blaylock injury. - Athens Daily Banner
