Marcus Crowley, Ohio State, Player News

One Ohio State football player has seen his Buckeyes career come to an end, and another has likely seen his 2022 season come to an end, OSU coach Ryan Day confirmed Friday. Running back Marcus Crowley will take a medical hardship and end his football career. Day said he met with Crowley and his family on Thursday night and that decision was made. A recruit in the Class of 2019 from Jacksonville, Fla., Crowley faced tough injury luck for much of his three-year college career. Crowley tore his ACL in a game as a freshman in 2019, and was still coming back from that injury in 2020. He then hurt his knee again last season, and running backs coach Tony Alford said Friday that Crowley had suffered another injury. In three seasons, Crowley played in 10 games with 51 carries for 354 yards with one rushing touchdown. - Cleveland Plain Dealer
