Linwood Crump, New Mexico State, Player News

The 6-foot, 175-pound Crump has already played parts of five seasons of college football. He's eligible to play another season due to the NCAA's ruling that the 2020 season didn't count toward eligibility for any player. He has 50 career tackles in 48 games played, with three interceptions (all in 2018) and 15 passes defensed. He led Temple in pass breakups in 2020. He redshirted in 2019 after missing most the season with a hand injury. CSU's secondary is in need of improvement. Despite the excellent pressure created by the defensive line, the Rams were still 10th in the Mountain West in pass yards allowed per game (250) in their four-game 2020 season. Crump will have one season with CSU. - Fort Collins Coloradoan
