South Alabama has added a transfer commitment from former Kentucky wide receiver Allen Dailey. Dailey, a Pinson Valley High School graduate, will have two seasons of eligibility with the Jaguars beginning in 2021. He announced his decision to transfer via Instagram late Sunday. The 6-foot-3, 208-pound Dailey played in 37 games in three seasons at Kentucky, totaling 23 receptions for 252 yards and two touchdowns. He will be reunited in Mobile with South Alabama wide receivers coach Michael Smith, who helped recruit him to Lexington in 2018. Dailey was a three-star prospect in the 2018 class, according to 247 Sports. He was a first-team Class 6A All-State pick as a senior at Pinson Valley, catching 80 passes for 1,441 yards and 23 touchdowns for an Indians team that went 15-0 and won the state championship with current Auburn quarterback Bo Nix under center. - Birmingham News

Kentucky football's wide receiver room is getting a makeover. Senior Allen Dailey and junior Bryce Oliver have both entered the transfer portal this week. Dailey was Kentucky's second-most productive wide receiver in an anemic passing offense last season with 14 catches for 139 yards and one touchdown. Oliver caught six passes for 111 yards and one touchdown in 2019 but was limited last fall due to injury, finishing the season with two catches for 14 yards. While both Dailey and Oliver had failed to breakout thus far in their Kentucky careers, they were considered two of the better options among the returning receivers behind No. 1 option Josh Ali and Nebraska transfer Wan'Dale Robinson. Dailey started all 11 games for Kentucky in 2020. UK coaches repeatedly pointed to Oliver as a possible boost to the receiver options while he was injured last season thanks to his physical 6-foot-1, 215-pound frame. - Courier Journal
