  Jake Smith passed for three touchdowns, Khalid Thomas made two interceptions and Harvard beat Holy Cross 38-13 on Saturday. Kym Wimberly opened the scoring by catching a Smith pass behind the line of scrimmage and racing 41 yards. Kaedyn Odermann added a 17-yard scoring grab, and Harvard scored 24 unanswered points in the first half. Adam Shepherd scored on a 29-yard grab to make it 31-13. The Harvard defense intercepted three passes, including Khalil Dawsey's 55-yard pick-six for a 21-0 lead. Aaron Shampklin rushed for 72 yards and Aidan Borguet added 59 yards and a score for Harvard (3-0), which entered second among all FCS teams in rushing offense at 289 yards. Matthew Sluka was intercepted twice for Holy Cross (3-2) and Marco Siderman once. The two combined to go 13 of 39 for 125 yards with no touchdowns.   Jake Smith threw for three touchdowns as Harvard beat Holy Cross 31-21 on Saturday. Smith had 161 yards passing for the Crimson (4-1). Devin Darrington ran for 109 yards and a score on 28 carries. Holy Cross' Domenic Cozier ran 66 yards for a touchdown on the third play of the game but Smith answered quickly for Harvard with an 18-yard scoring pass to Jack Cook to even it up. Jake McIntyre booted a 36-yard field goal late in the first quarter, and Smith followed with a 22-yard touchdown throw to Ryan Reagan for a 17-7 lead. Darrington's 3-yard scoring run early in the otherwise scoreless second quarter gave the Crimson a 24-7 advantage at halftime. Holy Cross closed to 24-14 early in the third but Smith's 68-yard scoring strike to Cody Chrest pushed Harvard's lead to 31-14 by the end of the quarter. Cozier ran for 98 yards and two touchdowns for the Crusaders (3-4). Connor Degenhardt had 206 yards and a score passing. - AP College Football

  Jake Smith threw for three touchdowns and Harvard beat Cornell 35-22 on Saturday. Smith was 18 of 28 for 217 yards for the Crimson (3-1, 2-0 Ivy League) and was intercepted once. Devin Darrington ran for 94 yards and a score on 21 carries. Harvard trailed 7-0 late in the first quarter when Smith connected with Jack Cook for a 16-yard touchdown. Cornell's Nickolas Null booted a 49-yard field goal early in the second quarter but Darrington answered for the Crimson with a 22-yard touchdown run to make it 14-10 with 10:15 left in the first half.

A Cornell interception by Jack McGowan led to Smith's 32-yard TD pass to Cody Crest and B.J. Watson powered in from the 3 for another Harvard score just before halftime and the Crimson had a 28-10 advantage. Cornell closed it to 28-16 early in the fourth but Smith's touchdown throw to Ryan Reagan with 5:24 to go helped seal the Harvard win.   Devin Darrington ran for three touchdowns and DeMarkes Stradford added three more as Harvard rolled to 62-17 win over Howard on Saturday. Darrington had 115 yards rushing on 12 carries for the Crimson (2-1). Stradford ran for another 108 yards and two TDs as the Harvard ground attack amassed 288 yards and seven touchdowns. He also blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone. Jake Smith threw for 113 yards and a score.

Harvard's first scoring opportunity came at the end of the opening drive when Khalil Dawsey blocked Howard's punt and Jason Brown recovered, returning it to the Howard 6-yard line. Darrington took it in on Harvard's first play for a quick 7-0 lead. The Crimson's second score came on another blocked Howard punt, this time by Stradford who recovered it in the end zone and Harvard led 14-3 early in the second quarter. Harvard scored four more touchdowns before halftime, on a pair of runs by Darrington, another by Aidan Borguet and on an 8-yard TD pass from Smith to B.J. Watson for a 41-3 advantage.   Jake Smith threw for 299 yards and a career high four touchdowns to help Harvard beat Brown 42-7 in the Ivy League opener for both teams on Friday night. Smith finished 22 of 29 with an interception for the Crimson (1-1). Devin Darrington ran for 91 yards and a touchdown and Aidan Borguet added 84 yards rushing and a score. The Bears (1-1) scored 34 seconds into the game, capping a three-play, 75-yard drive with Allen Smith's 22-yard TD run.

Harvard tied it at 7 before the end of the first quarter on Smith's 12-yard pass to Cody Chrest. Smith's 13-yard TD pass to Adam West make it 14-7 with 1:42 left in the first half. Brown went four-and-out to give Harvard a short field and Smith connected with Jack Cook for a touchdown with five seconds left in the half. Smith threw his fourth TD pass to B.J. Watson on the Crimson's opening drive of the third quarter. Darrington and Borguet scored in the fourth quarter. - AP College Football
