  2020 PRESEASON DOAK WALKER AWARD WATCH LIST: Richard Newton (So.), Washington,...Newton, a sophomore from Lancaster, Calif., is one of several returning Huskies vying for the starting tailback spot this coming season. Last year, he distinguished himself by scoring 10 rushing touchdowns, the fifth-highest total in the Pac-12 Conference, despite not starting any games. For the year, he rushed for 498 yards on 117 carries, and also caught a touchdown pass. His 6.6 points per game were 10th in the conference, sixth among non-kickers. - Washington Football
