LSU will return its entire starting defensive line next season. Glen Logan, who started in eight games at defensive tackle, announced Monday afternoon that he will return for the 2021 season. The 6-foot-3, 339-pound Kenner native had just finished his se nior year, but he will use an extra year of eligibility granted by an NCAA waiver due to the coronavirus pandemic. Logan is LSU's sixth player to announce he's returning next season instead of entering the NFL draft, and he's the fourth senior to take ad vantage of another season of eligibility. - Baton Rouge Advocate

Starting defensive tackle Glen Logan will not be playing in the team's next game against Vanderbilt, Orgeron said. The senior did not dress out for the Mississippi State game on Saturday. Orgeron did not offer specifics for why Logan will not be playing, but he said Logan will be back for LSU's Week 3 home game against Missouri. "Glen Logan will not be available this week and he will be available for Missouri," Orgeron said. The 6-foot-3, 339-pound Destrehan High graduated moved inside from defensive en d, where he recorded 20 tackles, 2 1/2 tackles for loss and 1 1/2 sacks in 2019. The Tigers' four-man defensive front was already entering the season without its other projected starting defensive tackle, Tyler Shelvin, who opted out of the season to pre pare for the NFL draft. - Baton Rouge Advocate
