Those six honorees join honorable mention recognition for Deangelo Antoine at both wide receiver and kick returner, alongside fellow offensive members in left guard Desmond Noel and tight end John Raine. Defensive tackle Ray Ellis and defensive end Tim Bonner, linebacker Rashad Smith, and a trio of defensive backs - safety Zyon Gilbert and corners James Pierre and Chris Tooley - were also recognized, as was long snapper Jonathan Sullivan. - Florida Atlantic Football

SEPT 23/WEEK 4 CONFERENCE USA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Florida Atlantic graduate transfer WR Deangelo Antoine was asked to move from wide receiver to slot last week and the move was not only breakout, it was record-breaking. Antoine had 11 receptions for 173 yards and four touchdowns in the win over Wagner. His four TDs marked just the eighth time in C-USA's 25-year history that a player has caught four or more TDs in a game.

Two players have caught five and Antoine is the sixth player to catch four in a game and is the first since 2016. The four TDs one-upped the bar set by teammate John Mitchell, who had three a week ago at Ball State, and set a new single-game record for FAU, breaking the previous mark of three set by Coretz Gent in 2008 and tied by Mitchell. The Orlando, Florida native's TD receptions were for 37, 17, 28 and 57 yards and most yardage was made after the catch. - Conference USA Football

University of South Florida wide receiver Deangelo Antoine has joined the Florida Atlantic Owls as a graduate transfer, according to the team's online roster. Antoine was an all-purpose player for the Bulls, playing running back, safety and wide receiver from 2016 to 2018. He is officially listed on the Owls' roster as a defensive back and is immediately eligible to play. Antoine caught 25 passes for 267 yards and two touchdowns the last three years. He also ran for 83 yards on nine carries and recorded two tackles. FAU recruiting reporter Shane Marinelli of fauowlsnest.com reported in June the Owls were pursuing Antoine. Antoine would be the third transfer receiver FAU has added this summer if the Owls play him on offense. - Palm Beach Post
