 Draft Scout Duron Harmon News
10/15/18 - S Duron Harmon took a bad angle on the 75-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill that tied the game at 40. But there was clearly a blown coverage because no one picked up Hill in the intermediate zone. Communication must improve in the Pats secondary. "I'd just say that was just bad defense, bad coaching, bad playing, bad everything. It wasn't really an extended play. No, it wasn't a scramble. The one to (Kareem) Hunt was more of a scramble play, which that was more of the same -- bad coaching, bad playing, just bad defense," Bill Belichick said.
03/25/18 - S Duron Harmon apologized for his Friday arrest in Costa Rica for attempting to bring marijuana into the country. Harmon was arrested at the Juan Santamaria airport by police with 58 grams of marijuana hidden in his suitcase, along with three pipes with cannabis oil, a THC candy and four glass containers of compressed marijuana weighing 4.3 grams, according to reports. Harmon was trying to enter Costa Rica from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He was temporarily detained and sent back to the United States. "I would like to extend my deepest regrets and sincerest apologies to Patriots fans, my teammates, my coaches, the Krafts and the NFL," Harmon wrote in a statement. "In addition, I apologize to my friends, family and especially my wife and two sons. Friday does not represent who I am or the person I strive to be. I am committed to doing everything within my power to regain the trust and respect of everyone who believes in me as an athlete, role model, person and friend. I appreciate your understanding and, once again, I apologize with all my heart."
03/24/18 - S Duron Harmon was denied entry into Costa Rica after attempting to bring marijuana into the country, multiple media outlets reported on Saturday. Costa Rican newspaper La Nacion reported that Harmon was arrested on Friday afternoon at the Juan Santamaria airport. Airport police discovered 58 grams of cannabis inside a can of ice tea hidden within a suitcase, The Costa Rica Star reported. Per the newspaper, he also had three pipes with canibas oil, a THC candy and four glass containers of compressed marijuana weighing 4.3 grams. Harmon, who was attempting to enter the country from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., temporarily was detained and sent back to the United States.
12/18/17 - S Duron Harmon recorded his team-high fourth interception to seal and steal a victory Sunday evening in Pittsburgh. The veteran has found the knack for such production, although clearly this pick was as much about Eric Rowe's coverage and deflection as anything else.
08/04/16 - S Duron Harmon continues to practice in a red, non-contact jersey as he returns from an unknown offseason injury. Harmon has not appeared limited in any way in practice, despite missing the entire spring of OTAs and mini-camp.
