03/24/18 - CB Tramon Williams is set to begin his second stint with the Green Bay Packers. Williams, who played his first eight seasons in Green Bay, officially signed a contract with the team. The Packers did not divulge the terms of the deal, but NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported that it was a two-year contract worth approximately $10 million. The 35-year-old Williams spent last season with the Arizona Cardinals, starting nine of 13 games while playing opposite Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson. Williams had two interceptions and 12 passes defensed.

"I know in this league it's hard to win. You get a team like this that loses a lot of close games and the next season they win 13 games. So if you can find that consistency, find that right piece, I think you can get it over the top." The 11-year veteran said that, yes, he believes he can be one of the right pieces for Arizona. "I wouldn't be here if I didn't," he said, smiling.
