  SEPT 16 RMAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Making his debut at quarterback as a true freshman, John Matocha of Colorado Mines had an incredibly efficient 20-for-22, 249-yard, 4-touchdown performance in Mines' 52-7 win over Black Hills State. Matocha had only one incompletion in each half as he threw for three touchdowns (25, 4, and 36 yards) and ran for a four-yard score of his own. Matocha added 50 net yards on the ground on 10 rushes. - Rocky Mountain Football
