In what can only be described as a rollercoaster game featuring six ties and six lead changes in regulation, then-No. 18 Villanova outlasted then-No. 5 Towson and came away with a 52-45 over-time victory. A game-tying field goal with 10 seconds left in regulation gave Villanova the momentum going into overtime, scoring what would become the game winning touchdown in their first possession. The Wildcats jumped five spots to No. 13 in this week's AFCA FCS Coaches' Top 25 Poll. North Dakota State received all 26 first-place votes and remained the No. 1 team in the nation following their win against then-No. 4 UC Davis, 27-16. James Madison and South Dakota State remained No. 2 and No. 3, respectively, with Kennesaw State making its first appearance in the Top 5 this season at No. 4 and UC Davis dropping one spot to No. 5. - AFCA
