  Draft Scout by Conference

Another Mississippi State cornerback has opted out of the 2020 college football season because of COVID-19 concerns. Freshman Javorrius Selmon will sit out the season, joining junior Tyler Williams and senior defensive back turned wide receiver Taury Dixon as Bulldogs who have chosen not to play because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Selmon was in a position to play as a true freshman with Williams opting out and multiple corners from last year's roster leaving the program. Selmon had 47 tackles and two interceptions as a senior at Provine in 2019. - The Clarion Ledger
