  2022 PRESEASON ASUN FOOTBALL ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM: K Maddux Trujillo, Austin Peay, So., Flowery Branch, Ga.,...As freshman campaigns go, Trujillo could not have done much better. He tied the APSU record with 14 field goals made, and his 77.8 percent field-goal conversion rate set the Governors' record. The Flowery Branch, Georgia product was responsible for a team-leading 78 points in his rookie year. Trujillo will lead a special teams group that returns all its starters for the 2022 campaign. - Austin Peay Football

Trujillo quickly became a strategic piece to a Governors' offense that led the OVC in scoring, making a field goal in each game he attempted one. He had a particular fondness for scoring against Tennessee State, going 3-for-4 on field goals in each game, and scoring 22 total points in Austin Peay's two outings against their rival. - Austin Peay Football
