2022 ALL-BIG SOUTH CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM: PR - Josh McNeely, R-Sr., Campbell,...McNeely earned All-Big South honors for the second straight season, this time at punt return, also serving as the Camels' primary kick returner again in 2022. Logging nearly 700 yards in total returns, the Charlotte native returned a season-long 29 yard punt in a win over Charleston Southern, adding 30-plus yard kick returns against William & Mary, Jackson State and Gardner-Webb. Named Big South Special Teams Player of the W eek after posting 104 total return yards and setting up two CU scores at William & Mary, McNeely was also a regular as a cornerback on the Campbell defense, making 22 tackles and adding a fumble recovery. - Campbell Football

SEPT 12 BIG SOUTH SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Campbell return specialist Josh McNeely posted 104 kickoff return yards, including a long of 39 yards, and recovered a fumble with a pair of special teams tackles in Campbell's matchup at No. 20 William & Mary. McNeely's second quarter fumble recovery off a muffed Tribe punt set up Campbell's first touchdown of the night just before the half. His 39-yard kick return in the third quarter set up Campbell's third score of the game, which was a 5-play, 61- yard scoring drive that brought Campbell to within 31-21 with the Tribe. Also nominated for Special Teams Player of the Week: Jay Billingsley (Gardner-Webb). - Big South Football
