Brandon Cunningham, Mississippi State, Player News

Mississippi State offensive lineman Brandon Cunningham is likely on his way out. Cunningham, who appeared in nine games, earning one start in 2020, has entered the transfer portal a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The Dispatch. Matt Zenitz of AL.com first reported the news. Assuming Cunningham does not return to MSU, he would be the 18th player since Mike Leach took over last January to seek a transfer from the program. Junior defensive backs Marcus Murphy and Tyler Wiliams and junior running back and Columbus native Kylin Hill also previously opted out of the season due to COVID-19 concerns. - The Dispatch
