  08/22/20 - DE Brandon MackrSr/2025, Houston, 6-3, 246 (DS#999 DE) + More +

The pass rush might be the biggest question mark for Ole Miss. Last year's sack leader Sam Williams is suspended indefinitely and last season's entire defensive line graduated. One player who defensive coaches and players alike have identified as a candidate to step up in the pass rush unit is freshman Brandon Mack. "I feel like Brandon Mack is doing an unbelievable job," Jones said. "Taking on blocks, holding blocks, setting the edge. He's just stepping up a lot. I seen it a little bit (last year) but he's stepping up a lot." Mack redshirted in 2019 and didn't see any game action. A 3-star recruit from Montgomery, Alabama, Mack is 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds and logged 25 tackles for loss and 10 sacks as a high schooler. - The Clarion Ledger
