2019 AFCA DIVISION III COACHES' FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: DB Tramon Wiley, Jr., Heidelberg (Ohio),...Wiley, a junior out of Eastpointe, Michigan, transitioned to his first season as defensive back this past summer and excelled immediately, earning first t eam All-American honors. With the award, he becomes the fourth different AFCA First Team All-American in program history and second consecutive after punter Austin Baker won the award in 2018. Facing many of the nation's top offenses as a first-year defe nsive back, Wiley led the OAC and finished tied for 8th in the nation with six interceptions this season. Along with his six picks, Wiley was credited with five pass breakups and a quarterback hurry in pass defense. In the tackling realm, Wiley tallied 2 7 tackles, which included 17 solo stops. Later, on December 20, the AP All-American teams were released, where Wiley was also included as a second team defensive back. Wiley was one of just four OAC players included on the list. - Heidelberg Football
