 Cory Hagerman, Merrimack, Player News

  11/25/19 - DE Cory HagermanrSr/2023, Merrimack, 6-2, 260 (DS#999 DE) + More +

NOV 25 NEC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: CORY HAGERMAN, MERRIMACK, DE, So., 6-2, 260 lbs., Binghamton, NY/Milford Academy, WEEK 13 Stats: 11 total tackles, 4.5 TFL, 4.0 sacks,...Hagerman unleashed havoc during Merrimack's triumphant season finale. The defensive end accounted for 4.0 quarterback sacks in a 24-10 victory over NEC foe LIU. Hagerman totaled 11 tackles for a Merrimack defense that limited the Sharks to 189 yards of offense, including a -12 mark in the rushing column. Nine of his 11 tackles limited the ball carrier to two yards or fewer and none of the 11 hits permitted first-down yardage. Hagerman's four sacks match the nation's single-game high for this year, joining Keith Woetzel from Lehigh and Andre Walker from Houston Baptist. Hagerman made two sacks in each half of the Warriors' Week 13 win. He also derailed LIU's second possession of the game by stopping Jacob Cheshire at the line of scrimmage on back-to-back run plays. - NEC Football
