  05/07/21 - DE Jabbar PricerSr/2022, Kent State, 6-3, 253 (DS#110 DE) + More +

Kent State's 2021 Mid-American Conference championship aspirations will not materialize next fall unless significant strides are made in limiting opponents' ability to effectively run the football. Jabbar Price is doing his part to make sure that happens. Price capped a stellar offseason by disrupting several plays during Saturday's Spring Game at Dix Stadium. The 6-foot-4, 265-pound defensive lineman brought one possession to a close with a third-down sack and another by recovering a fumble, both against the Golden Flashes' vaunted first-team offense led by star quarterback Dustin Crum.

"Jabbar is one of our guys who has been here and kind of led the charge in sacrificing, having great discipline," said Flashes head coach Sean Lewis. "He's really taking strides each and every day to improve and perform. I think those marginal gains that he's made through winter conditioning and through spring ball showed up [on Saturday]. He's handling his business day in day and day out the right way - with good, positive self-discipline. Then the results and the outcome showed up [Saturday]." - Akron Beacon Journal
