OCT 7 BIG SOUTH SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Gardner-Webb kicker Kurt Everett (Medina, Ohio) made all three PAT attempts in addition to the game-winning 33-yard field goal as time expired to lift Gardner-Webb to its first non-conference FCS road victory since 2016. The 33-yarder was a career-best distance, and he also posted a pair of touchbacks on his kickoffs. Also nominated for Special Teams Player of the Week: Brad Dennis (Campbell), Kyle Reighard (Charleston Southern) and Ryan Kost (Monmouth). - Big South Football
