  12/15/21 - DT Devon RobinsonrSr/2025, Transfer, 6-4, 300 (DS#999 DT) + More +

Memphis defensive lineman Devon Robinson has entered the transfer portal, the USA Today Network has learned. Robinson confirmed his departure in a post on Twitter Monday. Robinson, who attended Whitehaven High School, transferred to Memphis in January. According to his statement, he came to the Tigers as a walk-on after being on scholarship at Mississippi State. Robinson did not appear in a game this season and was among the eight Power Five transfers that had mixed results for the Tigers. Only one, punter Joe Doyle, is currently getting significant reps. Robinson left Mississippi State after three seasons. After redshirting in 2018, he didn't play in 2019 or 2020. According to his post, he has two seasons of eligibility left. - Memphis Commercial Appeal

Memphis football added another SEC transfer on Sunday. Former Mississippi State defensive lineman Devon Robinson announced on Twitter he has transferred to the Tigers. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound Robinson was a standout at Whitehaven High School before he signed with the Bulldogs in their 2018 class. Robinson has three years of eligibility remaining. He played in one game with the Bulldogs in 2018 before redshirting and didn't play in 2019 or 2020. Robinson is the fifth player to transfer to Memphis from a Power Five school.
