  12/27/23 - WR Jeshaun JonesrSr/2024, Maryland, 6-1, 186 (DS#47 WR) + More +

2023 ALL-BIG TEN HONORABLE MENTION: Jeshaun Jones,...Jones leads the Terps in both receptions (53) and receiving yards (747) and is one of only two Maryland receivers to start in all 12 games this season. His 747 yards and 53 receptions are both the 14th-most in a single season in program history and Jones wraps up his Maryland career standing fifth all-time in career receptions (146) and touchdowns (14), and eighth all-time in program history with 2,000 career receiving yards. Jones had over 70 receiving yards in six of 12 games this season and caught touchdowns against Towson, Virginia, Northwestern and Penn State. - Maryland Football

  01/04/23 - WR Jeshaun JonesrSr/2024, Maryland, 6-1, 186 (DS#47 WR) + More +

Jeshaun Jones' Maryland career has been a testament to his perseverance. After making some noise as a freshman, Jones tore his ACL before his sophomore campaign. In 2021, Jones tore his other ACL, forcing him to miss the final seven games of that season. In his first full season since his freshman year, Jones led the team in receiving yards (557), touchdowns (four) and receptions (44). The redshirt senior ended the season on a high note as well, totaling 152 yards and a touchdown against Rutgers before catching four passes for 79 yards in the Duke's Mayo Bowl.

Locksley said he's been actively recruiting Jones to return for a sixth season. With wide receivers Rakim Jarrett, Jacob Copeland and Dontay Demus Jr. having declared for the 2023 NFL draft, Jones would provide much-needed leadership and be a go-to target for Tagovailoa. "Jeshaun plays the game the way it should be played," Locksley said. "If you look at our receivers room and the way it has been impacted with guys leaving. It would be great to have a veteran presence like him back." Jones said he wants to see how the recruiting process goes before deciding on whether to return to Maryland for another season, saying, "it'll be sooner than later." He said the decision to either return or leave for the NFL draft will be tough because of the love he has for his teammates and wanting to see some of the young wide receivers grow. "I feel like this team was like together, and I'm so excited for all these guys," Jones said. - Baltimore Sun

  10/19/21 - WR Jeshaun JonesrSr/2024, Maryland, 6-1, 186 (DS#47 WR) + More +

Maryland coach Michael Locksley said the goal for his team during the bye week was to get healthy — mentally and physically. Then he immediately announced two more major injuries. Receiver Jeshaun Jones and linebacker Durell Nchami are both expected to miss the rest of the season. Locksley said Tuesday that Jones had a lower-leg injury that requires surgery, and he said Nchami had upper-body surgery. "We're a team that kind of limped into the bye week," Locksley said. The Terrapins won their first four games this season. Then their much-anticipated matchups with Iowa and Ohio State went about as badly as possible. Maryland lost standout receiver Dontay Demus to a season-ending injury in the Iowa game, and Jones went down against Ohio State. The Terps also lost both games by a combined score of 117-31. Then the schedule mercifully gave them last weekend off. - AP College Football

  08/06/19 - WR Jeshaun JonesrSr/2024, Maryland, 6-1, 186 (DS#47 WR) + More +

Maryland receiver Jeshaun Jones tore his anterior cruciate ligament at practice Monday and will miss the 2019 season, the school announced Tuesday. After a standout freshman campaign, Jones entered this season as part of the young group of playmakers that gave promise to Maryland's offense in the first year under Coach Michael Locksley. The Terrapins have a deep corps of receivers, but Jones would have likely been a starter in 2019. Jones will redshirt this season and will likely return in time for next season’s spring practice. - Washington Post
